Lady Gaga with No Makeup

Lady Gaga with No Makeup: Hot or Not? Hot!

When you’re at the height of your career as a superstar and are known for your risqué, unbelievable (and controversial) fashion, what do you do to shock the world, or prove that you were “Born This Way?” You strip down and bare it all. Such was the action that Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (better known as Lady GaGa) proved on March 26, 2012 when she posted a photo through Twitter showcasing the softer side of the woman that is behind her audacious personality.

(You may have remembered the Harper’s Bazaar editorial in which she underwent a complete transformation, head to toe, again, being make-up less.) The look in the photo is very basic, but gives the audience, and her fans, the image of what she appears to be like in her downtime as a normal human being. Maybe the lyrics from a Led Zeppelin song say it best: “Made up my mind to make a new start. Going to California with an aching in my heart. Someone told me there’s a girl out there, with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.” GaGa wears a white rose in her hair in the photo.

I Love Aural - Titanium by David Guetta feat. Sia

WTF: Russian Tranny Pop, Hop by Azis

The long-awaited video of Azis – Hop is now ready and can be watched by his music fans.

Recently one of the most discussed topic is the enormous popularity which the singer gained in Russia. He became a star after an episode of the popular TV show Comedy Club. The audience was shocked of Azis in one of his clips – Mrazish, but I must say they will be even more scandalized after watching Hop.

As part of the scenario the star of Diapason Records partneres with muscular guys which is quite common for him. Interestingly, the place where it happens is a russian sauna. The King of pop-folk music remained true to his style and is again provocative. The clothes he wears are by Philipp Plein and are pretty scarce as you can see.

I Love Aural: Lady GaGa "Born This Way"

"Born This Way," the new single by Lady GaGa, hit YouTube today. While I am a die-hard GaGa fan, this track definitely lacks the 'love at first listen' quality of the first single from her last two albums: "Just Dance" and "Bad Romance."

The actual main part song doesn't begin until after a 20-second speech intro, which is a boner shrinker for me if I'm on the dance floor. As a DJ, I like songs that have a strong beginning and consistent beat. Unfortunately, this version has several sections where there is just talking or no bass beat. It's hard to beat-match speech with cello undertones...lol.

It has the distinctive vintage flavor of Madonna's "Express Yourself." This can be found in the 'love yourself' message and the fact that the chorus in both songs have the same chord progression.  Overall, I love the concept of the song. I just wish they had edited it a little better and added a more chunky beat. The bass line in the song is muted and lost in the treble, like most 80s songs were.

Can't wait until the remixes come out though!

*Disclaimer*
This is a first impression, first reaction review and does not take into account the 'it will grow on you' factor. I'll write again once it's been tested on the dance floor. Take a listen and leave comments.

I Love Aural - Britney Spears "Hold It Against Me"

I'm on the fence about Brit's new single. It reminds me a little bit of old euro rave music. I'll have to test it out on the dance floor after a couple drinks before I can really decide.

I Love Aural: Christina Aguilera - Vanity

I found this track at the very end of Christina Aguilera's new album Bionic. It should me her next because she owns it. An excerpt of my favorite lyric:

Mirror mirror on the wall
Hit up prince charming
Tell him give me a call
Never mind, screw him
Cause I found somebody better
Never mind, screw him
I'll make myself so much wetter
